Ingredients:
* One and a half kilo of maize jora
* A kilo of barley
* Ten liters of water
* One teaspoon of cloves
* Sugar to taste
Preparation:
Toast in a clean pan and grease barley and maize jora.
In a large pot, boil water, barley, maize jora and clove. Move constantly to thicken. When you have spent half the water, add another 5 liters of water, boiling for an hour and a half.
Once cool, add sugar to taste and strain through a sieve or colander.
Place in a bowl or jar (clay if possible) leaving it to ferment, four to six days.
IMPORTANT: You must remove the chicha at least once a day.
